investors find companies worthy of further study. Stock Prospector enables investors to search
through the OPS database for companies that meet pre-selected criteria such as: sales growth
history, earnings growth history, projected sales growth, projected earnings growth, S&P rating,
debt/equity ratio, ROE rating, and many more. It is important to understand that screening is
only a starting point which must be followed by solid analysis of the companies discovered.
In this class, you will learn how to use Stock Prospector to eliminate companies from consideration
that do not satisfy your minimum requirements. This will save many hours of time that would
otherwise be wasted researching sub-par companies.
